To keep the conversation going, we hosted two PBS KIDS "Girls Night Out" events on Twitter that, combined,
spurred thousands of contextual tweets by hundreds of mom bloggers, including some of the most-followed – with
more than 20 million followers among them.
360PR™ employed its signature Blunch™ strategy to help PBS KIDS create the ideal forum for an authentic,
two-way dialogue with mom bloggers. Through a series of in-person events, we took bloggers behind-the-scenes
of the development of a PBS KIDS series, highlighting the learning benefits derived from PBS KIDS programming.
More than 100 bloggers attended the events, live-tweeting to their followers and writing 87 feature-length posts about
PBS KIDS that prompted high reader engagement of 7-8 comments per post. Recognized as a "best practice" campaign by
the Society of New Communications Research, the blogger event series dramatically increased PBS KIDS' social media
presence and traffic to PBSKIDS.org.
"The visit, presentation, and discussion made a huge impression on me and it's for that reason that
I've become a total PBS KIDS cheerleader."
